01Acceptance
By using threadtheorycreative.com (the "Site") you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
02Who we are
The Site is operated by Thread Theory Creative ("Thread Theory," "we," "us"), a content agency based in Seattle, Washington and Boise, Idaho. These Terms cover the Site only. Any services we provide to clients are governed by separate written agreements, and nothing on the Site is an offer to contract.
03Using the Site
You are welcome to browse the Site, take the quiz, and share links to our pages. You agree not to:
- Copy, download, republish, or reuse our videos, photographs, designs, or copy without our written permission. Link to it, do not lift it.
- Scrape or harvest content or data from the Site, or use bots or automated tools that burden it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or reverse engineer any part of the Site.
- Submit false information or spam through our forms.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
04Our content and intellectual property
Everything on the Site, including text, design, code, videos, photographs, graphics, the Thread Theory name, and our logo, is owned by Thread Theory Creative or used with permission from our clients and licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights are reserved.
Client work appears on the Site as our portfolio, with the permission of those clients. Client names and logos belong to their respective owners, appear only to identify work we have done, and do not imply endorsement of Thread Theory by those companies.
05The content quiz
The quiz and its score are general, informational, and meant to start a conversation. The result is based solely on the answers you choose to give. It is not a professional assessment, audit, or guarantee of any outcome, and any decisions you make based on it are your own.
06Things you send us
Information you submit through our forms must be accurate and yours to share. We may use it to respond to you and evaluate whether we are a fit, as described in our Privacy Policy. Unsolicited ideas or materials you send are not treated as confidential unless a written agreement says otherwise.
07Third-party services and links
The Site links to and embeds services we do not control, including Vimeo, Instagram, and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
08No warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we may change or remove content at any time.
09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thread Theory Creative and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Thread Theory Creative from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
11Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Thread Theory regarding the Site.
